#OccupyWallStreet Protester (and Kossack) Jesse LaGreca Destroys Fox News Reporter

As you'd guess, interview didn't make it on air.

Cross-posted at Daily Kos.

Update: I've been informed by the New York Observer that the reporter who uploaded the video was Drew Grant. She worked super hard to get that information out there. So PLEASE make sure to link to her story: HERE

  2. Really good. The only slight way I think it could have been better is if, instead of making the divide between conservatives and liberals (a political divide), he'd made it between the 1% and the 99% (economic divide). I watch these rich anchors smirking about the protests, and I don't think conservative. I think 1%-ers. They've been leading the conversation for 30 years. It's time for them to receive what we've gotten from them for 30 years--the big ignore.

  4. About the media--at first, I was pissed that they were ignoring the protests, especially after the way they fluffed the Tea Party. But what happened was that the protests created their own outlets. The net, twitter, our phones--all that stuff means we don't need them anymore.

That was always a problem before. If the media didn't cover it, it was like it wasn't happening, so we were dependent upon them--a bad thing since they are owned and controlled by precisely that at which we are aiming.

But the simple real fact is that we don't need them anymore. They are a vestigial part of the Old Order. Young people don't even notice them. They no longer have a monopoly on disseminating information--a very good thing, since they were doing such a crappy job of it. Fuck 'em. To quote an old Dylan song, "shake the dust off your feet, don't look back." They trivialized themselves; we didn't do that to them. So just let them stew in their own cobwebs.

  7. I am much older but I really believe the protest is on the right track to save this country for the next generation. So my hat is off to those who stand in the streets with signs for the right reason!

  8. This is the new reality TV. Its on 24/7. LaGreca, you host it. First episode, 10,000 bankers being hunted down in a corner and made to debate 12,000,000 of the 99% who are now organized.

Grabbing Popcorn, this is going to be good. Salute!
